How to use windows shortcut keys

Windows has a lot of keyboard short cut keys. Most of the time these are a lot faster than clicking on the menu items. This is a list of the ones I use the most.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer running windows

Step1
These are General editing shortcuts.
Copy CTRL+C
Cut CTRL+X
Paste CTRL+V
Undo CTRL+Z
Step2
Select All CTRL+A
Close Active window ALT+F4
Refresh Active window F5
Permanently Delete (no recycle bin) Shift+ del
Step3
Windows Key Shortcuts
Open Explorer Windows Key+ E
Open Run Windows Key+ R
Minimize all windows Windows Key+ M

  • If you have trouble remembering the keys print out a list to help you learn.
