Walk the boardwalk and pack a picnic basket with all your favorite things. Enjoy the day -- enjoy each other.

a table for two in a park
6. And if you just can't get away then create a romantic destination at home -- Have a romantic dinner at home. Send the kids for a sleep over at a friend's house. Call a caterer for a small intimate dinner for two. Setup a small table near a fireplace or window - dress the table and area so that it says romance to you and your partner. For example - if a Tuscan café is romantic to you -- Copy the idea. Bring out the candles, music, and wine. Don't forget to dress for your partner - so bring out your sexiest dressing.
