Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- mild facial cleanser
- fresh towels
- tissues or compact powder
Step1
Wash your face at least twice a day using a gentle cleanser. People respond differently to various cleansers. What works for your best friend may not work for you. So experiment to find the cleanser that works best for you.
Step2
Wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face. Everyone tells you that if you want to get rid of acne on oily skin, you need to stop touching your face. This is easier said than done. People unconsciously touch their face throughout the day. However, you can help to prevent passing oil from your hands to your face by frequently washing your hands.
Step3
Remove oil throughout the day. If you have oily skin, the chances are that it will get oily throughout the day, even if you try hard to remove the oil. When you notice your skin getting oily, make sure that you remove the oil. You can wash your face again, use a tissue to blot the oil, or use compact powder.
Step4
Change your towels and pillowcases often. Towels and pillowcases absorb the oil from your face...but they can also pass that oil back onto your face. Make sure this doesn't happen by frequently changing your towels and pillowcases.
