Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

Step1
Intelligence issues are very important to the national security of the United States of America. Most intelligence operations need to operate on a need to know basis in order to be successful. The Executive Branch has proven to be proficient in the surgical using intelligence to protect the United States of America.
Step2
When the Executive Branch is in charge of intelligence, the knowledge of it’s operations are limited to a select group of people. This is to ensure that there is no compromise of national security or the intelligence operations that are in motion. Broadening the involvement of people outside the Executive Branch multiplies the danger of missions being compromised willingly or unwillingly. This puts the American people in danger. This is a risk that is not worth taking.
Step3
The Executive Branch has used Intelligence to conquer communism and win the Cold War. Their use of Intelligence saves the world from possible nuclear destruction during the Cuban Missile Crises. Intelligence has been used by the Executive Branch to expand the business and foreign relations of the United States which has made America a much stronger nation. The Executive branch has proved over the years that they have the best interests of the American public in mind when employing the use of intelligence. America has greatly prospered when intelligence has functioned within the Executive Branch.
