When times are rough, knowing you can count on your friends for support means a lot. Weight loss can be a challenging and difficult time physically and emotionally. Throughout the process it's important to stay positive about your goals, your body and your plan.
Negative thoughts and self talk will hinder your progress and make you feel unmotivated.

If you're unhappy with your body, do something about it.
Start exercising. Let's be honest most people don't enjoy going to the gym, so find ways to motivate yourself. Go buy a new outfit and shoes for exercising. You'll feel more confident going to the gym in nicely fitting workout gear, not to mention with all the great new fabrics out there, you'll be much more comfortable during your workout too.
Take one of your positive friends along to help you pick out the perfect look.

Replace High-Calorie Foods with High-Energy Foods.
Instead of a Venti Latte and Danish, have an egg white omelet with sauteed veggies and for your caffeine fix swap that venti latte for a grande non-fat version or better yet go for Chai or Green tea.

Look in the mirror everyday and say something positive about yourself. We generally use the mirror to pick out our flaws and see the negative, start to change that pattern today. Remember staying positive will boost your confidence and help you stay motivated to reach your goals.
