How to Sew with Crochet Lace

There's that one piece of clothing in your closet that might look transformed with a little bit of intricate crocheted lace added to it. Bring it out along, with your sewing machine or a needle and thread, and your length of crocheted lace. You could have a masterpiece in under an hour.

Things You'll Need:

• Needle and thread or sewing machine
• Lace
• Garment

1. Decide where you want to place the lace. It's a good idea to choose a place several inches from a fabric's edge.

2. All across the fabric, measure up from the edge and pin the lace to keep it even across fabric.

3. Stitch the lace to the fabric, using similarly colored thread.

4. Stitch very close to the outer edge of the lace, directly over outermost crocheted row.

5. At end of the lace, fold the end piece underneath and stitch neatly to avoid fraying.
