Step 1
Begin your quest with some initial browsing of your favorite sites and publications. Most regional, national and international magazines include blogs on their website, and often these share additional sources and ideas not found in the magazine or newspaper.

Use the Internet to your advantage. Type your favorite designer's name into a search engine and see what comes up. More often than not a list of blogs that have mentioned the name will appear. Once you've got a list browse the sites to see if their content is fun and up-to-date.

When you've found a blogger that you like, look to what they read. Typically bloggers will have a sidebar of links to blogs that they read. These are often called "Blogs I adore," "Sites I love" or simply "Categories."

Step 4
There are certain companies that do yearly surveys to find the 50 best blogs in a variety of categories. They're often voted on by the general public. Check these out for further inspiration.

Step 5
Check online style boards. Often people using these discussion sites will have a wealth of knowledge about the best blogs and sites out there. Don't be afraid to ask for suggestions.

Step 6
Finally, make sure to bookmark you blogs. Often bloggers will go through spurts of writing (usually during the various fashion weeks) only to follow that with some time off. Just because they've missed a few days doesn't mean they're done. Be sure to check back in for new posts and photos.
