Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer using Microsoft Windows and on a network

Step1
Click “Start” and then “My Computer.”
Step2
Click “Tools” on the toolbar, and then click “Folder Options.”
Step3
Click the “Offline Files” tab, and then click “Advanced.”
Step4
Click “Add.”
Step5
Type the name of a network computer. If you aren’t sure of the name, click “Browse” and navigate to the computer that you do not want to have access to when you are disconnected from the network.
Step6
Under “When a Network Connection is Lost,” click “Never Allow My Computer to Go Offline.” Click “Apply” and “OK.”
