Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • XBox 360
  • Computer
  • Linksys Wireless
  1. Step 1

Hooking up your Xbox 360 Live is easy. You're teenager probably already has it done as soon as he brings home the items to go Live. Having your internet connection in one part of the house and the gaming system in another, you will probably want to go wireless.

  2. Step 2

Using Linksys wireless system is fast and easy.

If you don't already have wireless set up on your pc, choose the right wireless system for your internet connection.

  3. Step 3

Using the disk that comes with your linksys setup you simply follow the directions and the disk will walk you through it.

However, if you already have a Linksys setup allowing other computers in your house to have wireless access to the internet, your Xbox 360 live should pick up the connection right away.

  4. Step 4

Linksys created a troubleshoot at their website that can help you even if you still have their cd. Sometimes a user will get an error on their pc and linksys website will do the setup for you.

It will put your computer in the setup for wireless access.

  5. Step 5

Once your pc is setup for wireless access, your Xbox 360 with it's unit/antenna plugged in to recieve the connection will go Live and put you through a series of forms to fill out on screen to join.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep control on your wireless setup by checking the security levels you have on your computer. Other items like Playstations PSP can pick up that wireless connection along with other small devices your kids may have.
