In a lot of states the shot clock is implemented on the high school level in the game. This rule has changed the way the game is played to a certain extent. The last possession of a quarter or half is a great time to run this offensive set and get a good shot.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first spot is to have three players in the game that can handle the ball and also take the ball to the basket. The players should be set up as follows. One player on the foul line, the guard with the ball out front on a 45 degree angle with the player on the foul line. The other guard stands across from the guard with the ball. The other two players spread the floor by each one going to a corner.

  2. Step 2

The guard with out the ball will set a down screen on the players defender at the foul line. The person at the foul line comes out on a 45 degree angle and takes the spot of the one that down screened. He gets the pass from the other guard.

  3. Step 3

After passing the ball the man will then go set a down screen for the man who is now at the foul line. This motion keeps going until the coach or players decided to attack the basket. Every time that there is a switch of players the one getting the ball, will also look to go one on one to the basket.

  4. Step 4

The men in the corners wait until the guards make their moves and if nothing happens will cut across the middle to get the ball on the post, or come and set a back screen for one of the guards that does not have the ball. This is an easy set to run and works very well. One can always change things and add some things for the big men. Good luck in hanging onto the ball.
