How to Upload a Lionhead Movie to MySpace

So you've made your masterpiece movie and you want more people to see it. Did you know that you can increase its audience by uploading it to your MySpace page? Follow these simple steps and MySpace movie fame can be yours.

Things You'll Need:

• Installed, Lionhead The Movies Game
• Internet connection
• MySpace account

1. Start The Movies and load your movie into the Movie Player. You have probably already exported an online version of your movie to the Lionhead website. MySpace can handle a better quality (larger file) export. Select "Export Movie" and select the highest quality. When the movie has finished exporting, open Windows Explorer and look for your movie in Desktop\Owner\Documents\The Movies\Movies.
   
   The maximum size of a movie that can be uploaded to MySpace is 100MB (or 100,000KB). If your movie's size is over 100MB go back into The Movies Movie Player and export one of a lesser quality and check its size again. If it is still too big continue to reduce its quality until you have a movie of less than 100MB size.
   
   A movie that is 7 minutes or less in runtime should be able to be exported in 'highest' quality under 100MB size.

2. Login to your MySpace account. Select "My Videos", then select "Upload Videos". A page should appear where you can name and describe your movie, as well as enter tags that people can search for to locate your movie. Also select 1-3 categories (one should be Animation/CGI). Select the language and visibility (public) and read and agree to the MySpace terms and conditions, then press continue.

3. You are now on the MySpace basic movie uploader page. I have always had problems with this version so I recommend that you select the "try our new awesome uploader" option located below the "Upload Film" option.

4. Now locate your movie with the "awesome" uploader. The size of the movie in megabytes is listed below each entry. Select the movie to upload and press the "upload" button.

5. It will take a while for the movie to upload and you can watch its progress. You will not be able to do anything else on your computer until it is finished. When it is done uploading, it will need to be processed for a few minutes before it will appear on your MySpace page. Welcome to Stardom, Mr. (or Ms.) Director!
