With dress becoming more and more barely there, many women are wanting to dress with more dignity and avoid being objectified by the sensual nature of today's clothing styles. You can dress more modestly, even though modest clothing is more difficult to find.

Step 1

Men are highly visual, and they are incredibly and strongly attracted to sensual and immodest dress. Sadly, the kinds of men who often openly encourage and want their girlfriend or wife to dress this way, may not really respect her dignity as a person.

She can often become merely an object for him to find sexual pleasure in, and can lead to him treating her with less respect and care.

If you want to truly be viewed as a person, who is more than a sexual opportunity for pleasure, then you might consider dressing more modestly.

Not only will this attract men to you, but they will tend to view you with more respect and take you for more than a cheap thrill. Many women who dress very modestly find that men are kinder, and more interested in them, as they stand out in the crowd as someone special.

Woman's bodies are beautiful, each in its own special way. However women and men see clothing today differently. What is "cute" to women, can be an invitation to fantasy to ALL the men you meet each day. Young boys, old men, married men, eligible men and any male who likes girls is going to notice immodest dress. Be aware that you are not only attracting the sexual attention of the man you are interested in when you dress immodestly. Covering up your body isn't the same as being ashamed of it, it is merely stating that you are important enough to not have to sell yourself as a sexual object to find someone special.
Step 2

Low necklines are getting all too common, shoot for a higher one, a couple of fingers widths below the collarbone, with no cleavage showing. Men are naturally attracted to breasts, and do not need to see them to feel attracted to you. A man looking for a wife is not necessarily going to want someone with half their chest showing. Many men don't like other men seeing their girlfriend or wife's breasts. That is not because they are jealous jerks, but because they recognize the response this will elicit in many less than honorable men.
Step 3

Avoid overly tight shirts, especially with thin bras which clearly show the nipples and all the bra straps and parts. In a way these are more exciting to men than being completely naked. Be aware that you are making yourself the object of someones sexual desire, not just dressing cute. Men are extremely visual, and have a difficult time NOT looking and looking often causes them to think about sexual experiences they might have with you.
Look for blouses and shirts that are not tight nor thin. Also choose shirts with a higher neckline. A couple of fingers widths below the collar bone is a good place to draw the line.
Step 4

Tight pants and skirts, try to avoid overly tight pants, not only have these been linked to yeast infections, vaginal irritation and other undesirable conditions, but they are a magnet for glances that are not directed on your eyes or witty personality. If you want someone to love you, not merely be in lust with you, keep your pants and skirts loose and modest so that they can get to know you without having to constantly battle their passions. Try loose pants and skirts, and avoid low cut hip-huggers as well as cropped shirts.
Step 5

Short skirts and shorts. Recognize that the shorter the skirt or shorts, the more men will be thinking about what is actually covered, which is usually not the intention of the woman. Be aware that you can make men uncomfortable, especially men who want to know you, but aren't interested in an immediate sexual relationship. A good call is not above the knee.
Step 6

Recognize that you don't want to advertise what you aren't willing to offer. Many Men looking for a fling or merely sexual relationship look for women who dress very immodestly, thinking that they wouldn't dress this way if they weren't trying to hook up for sexual activity.

It isn't that they are creeps or bad people, they just don't understand that you aren't interested in the same kind of relationship they are. If they do realize it, they will often pretend to love you until the new wears off and they decide they are ready for a new girl.
Step 7

Once you decide where your limits are, stick to them and throw out everything that is outside of these limits. You can easily modify many clothes using iron on adhesives, and by sewing in inserts of pretty lace or interesting fabrics in the necklines of clothing that are too low.
