Step 1
DO NOT buy red roses and chocolates. Everyone does this. This says, I didn't do any thinking and I'm not at all romantic.
-
Step 2
Send the gift to their workplace. Women LOVE getting gifts at work to flaunt in front of the other women. If you are going to wear something sexy that night for your man, send it to work that day, so he can build up the anticipation.
-
Step 3
You could also send a note to work saying suggesting what you'll be doing later. Something like a clue to what date you are taking her on, or something suggestive to him.
-
Step 4
Send them on a treasure hunt. Start the day with a picture or note next to their bedside or on the bathroom mirror telling them the next place to go. At the end of the day, have them find you on the bed with candles lit, or at a private candlelight dinner for two.
-
Step 5
Be creative. Most women are much more into the thought than men. They want a romantic story to tell their friends. Most guys, on the other hand, will want something physical, be that a sensual massage or a great dinner. Just really think about how you're special someone is unique, and show them that you care.

I agree forget roses! One way to Tickle the heart of others is to get a TickleMe Plant Greenhouse. With it you can grow the REAL plant that MOVES when you Tickle It. The leaves quickly fold and even the branches droop when tickled!. It a great way to share your love of nature. I found it at http://www.ticklemeplant.com

on 3/19/2008 It's the little things that matter most - reminding them year-round of your love is the best gift of all. It can be a simple post-it note or an unexpected gift. There are sites like www.remindyourlove.com and www.redenvelope.com that make this pretty easy...and they carry some of the items mentioned above...good luck.

on 2/10/2008 I disagree... Chocolate and Roses are classic. I think that's a really sweet Valentine's Day gift -- just personalize it to make it extra special.
