How to Complete “The Deadliest Trap Ever Laid” in World of Warcraft

Though the quest says it’s a group quest with a recommended party of at least 3, “The Deadliest Trap Ever Laid” can actually be done with a single person quite easily, even if you’re a caster, and even if you have no ranged attacks or are healing-specced. While it may sound incredulous, attacking flying mobs with no ranged attacks, there’s a special trick you can use to make this quest very easy.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

1. If you have Ranged attack ability, attack a few of the Dragonmaw raiders once they show up.
2. Run back into the outpost once you’ve drawn some aggro and find the Flight Master.
3. Stand exactly where the Flight Master is standing, heal yourself if you can. When the Dragonmaw raiders shoot you with Multi-shot, they’ll hit the Flight Master, aggro him/her and incur the wrath of the Gryphons/Wyverns and tear the Dragonmaw to shreds!
4. Heal the commander if you can.
5. Repeat until the quest is finished.
6. If you do not have Ranged attack ability, heal the friendly troops until you draw aggro.
7. Repeat Steps 2-4 until the quest is finished.
