Step 1
A Dillon reloading pressMake sure you have a well lit work are you need a good bench and some shelves. Get at least one reloading book and read it. Make sure you understand it. If you have someone who is experienced that is a big help

Step 2
typical reloading diesSet up your press and other equipment such as the powder measure and scales. Make sure that have it set up in such a way that you can reach everything fairly easily.

A good lube to use on your cases.After everything is set up you can begin but read the directions on how to set up your dies. That is a very important step. After you have inspected your cases for cracks and other defects you are ready to size. Be sure you lube them first or the case will get stuck in the die.

Step 4
Micrometer and venier caliperAfter sizing you are ready to prime after you make sure that they are not too long you should have a venier caliper and a micrometer available. All the loading manuals have the proper length. They may have to be trimmed as using cases that are too long can be dangerous. Be sure to use the right primer.

Step 5
Typical bulletsAfter they are primed you can put in the correct amount and type of powder. You should go by the loading manual and not try and get cute. That could cause you some serious hurt if you are careless.
