How to Write a Legal Answer in a Personal Injury Lawsuit

Working in law means a lot of time spent writing papers, filing those papers and researching case law. Here is how to write an answer to a defendant's questions regarding a personal injury case.

• Word processing software
• Client (plaintiff or defendant)
• Reason for writing personal injury answer
• Plaintiff
• Defendant and DOES 1-10

Instructions

Writing an Answer to a Personal Injury Complaint to Defendant

1. 

   Open your word processing software to write your ANSWER on pleading paper. Click on the "HELP" button on the toolbar at the top of the page. When this is open, type in "PLEADING PAPER" and click on the green arrow.

2. 

   Click on the 28 or 32 lines Template Pleading Paper link in the drop-down window for PLEADING PAPER. When a window opens up in the middle of the blank page, click on the "DOWNLOAD" link. This will open up the 28 or 32 lines of PLEADING PAPER for you to write your ANSWER for the PERSONAL INJURY CAR ACCIDENT or any case for that matter.

3. 

   From here, when the template is downloaded, you will begin filling in the information pertinent to your case.

4. Add all the information in the template areas to create you COMPLAINT in this case.
