    Ensure that choosing the outsourcer is a cost effective and viable solution.

  5. Step 5

    Interview several "outsourcers" before making a selection.

  6. Step 6

    Prepare a written contract and review with legal counsel if you feel it is necessary. Ensure that the contract has performance metrics which outline the level of service or production expected of the outsourcer.

    Be willing to negotiate as needed.

    Schedule regular meetings with those who work outside the company.

on 1/29/2009 Good one... Also other importants things to take into consideration include the Time Zone and the communication channel. Yet most important is the outsourcing model you need to follow. The model shouild be workable and flexible enough for both the parties. Also rates should be such that both parties benefit and could sustain in long term relationship.
