How to remove blood stains from clothing

This is a very effective way of removing blood stains from clothing IF caught immediately.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bowl of cold water
  • Household salt
  1. Step 1

    Fill a sink or bowl with enough cold water to fully cover the item of clothing.

  2. Step 2

    Add a liberal amount of salt to the water.

  3. Step 3

    Immerse the item of clothing in salt water and let it soak for a few minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • This method is only effective when the blood stain is caught immediately.
  • If the stain is caught and hour or so later it will take some of the blood out but leave a slight stain.
