You've got the booking and want to do the best job at your modeling shoot. Just adhere to a few simple suggestions and you'll do a great job and impress the client.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get a good night's rest. Partying the night before a shoot is an absolute no-no. Have a relaxing stress-free night before your modeling shoot. You will avoid dark circles, baggy eyes and a washed-out look.

  2. Step 2

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your modeling shoot. The alcohol will stay in your system otherwise and could cause you to look sluggish.

  3. Step 3

If you decide to change your hair color or even just get a haircut before your shoot, do it at last one week before the big day. This will give you time to get comfortable with your look and have it at an ideal stage for shooting.

  4. Step 4

Avoid tanners and sun exposure a week before your shoot. You want to show up with clear unblemished skin without any unnatural color or sun tint.

  5. Step 5

Shave the day of the shoot and not beforehand. This will give you a fresh smooth look and avoid stubble.

  6. Step 6

Do something to relax yourself before the shoot and prepare you in mind and body to be open and flexible. Meditation, stretching and yoga work well. Some find praying, chanting or just deep breathing to work also.

  7. Step 7

Do last minute hygiene touch-ups. This may include flossing your teeth, plucking your eyebrows and cleaning or trimming your nails.
