Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A list of power words
  1. Step 1

Make them bold. Don’t be afraid to highlight the words with either a bold black type or a colorful background.

  2. Step 2

Put them at the beginning of a sentence. Place them where they will get read- the beginning of a sentence. This keeps your copy strong and effective.

  3. Step 3

Print them on the envelope or on an obvious place. Put them at the top of the letter in large font. Put them on the envelope. Put them at the end of the letter. Make them big and impossible to miss.

  4. Step 4

Scatter them throughout your blocks of copy. Sprinkle your copy with these words. Don’t just use them and the beginning and end of your copy-place them all throughout your copy.

  5. Step 5

Repeat them. Are you offering a ‘guarantee’? Say it over and over and over to be sure the reader gets it. Don’t assume that because you wrote it once it will be heard and remembered by the reader. That would be copywriter's greatest mistake.
