Step 1
If you are on the internet waiting for a page to load, make sure you have something to do in that waiting time, like take a shower or something. I used to file my nails and not only did it make the time go by faster, it kept me from getting frustrated and throwing the computer out the window.

Step 2
Since you will find yourself using the Internet less and less, it's a good idea to keep a list of things to do that doesn't involve the internet (yes, there are still such things). For example, chores, reading, watching a movie, board games, etc. You'll soon find that you CAN live without high-speed Internet or the Internet after all.

Step 3
Realize that it will be quite a change but it will give you a chance to do things that you normally would not do. You'll find that you'll have more time to spend with family and that you'll move around a lot more. You won't be stuck at the computer (like you probably are everyday at work) giving you the freedom to move around and take on other tasks (which may or may not be a good thing). Plus, you can always stop working at home (you can tell your boss it's just too hard with dial-up)!
