If you are logged on a computer as the administrator or a member of the administrators group, you can increase security on that computer by requiring users to hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE in order to get to the logon screen. Requiring users to do so increases security by preventing certain Trojan horse programs.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Click “Start” and then click on “Control Panel." If you are using an older version of Windows you will click “Start," point to “Settings” and then click on “Control Panel."

Double Click “User Accounts."
Step3
Click the “Advanced” tab.
Step4
Under “Secure Logon” select the check box next to “Require Users to Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete."
Step5
Click “Apply” and “OK."
