Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- one box of large shell noodles
- one pound package of sausage any kind will work
- about a half of a cup of vegitable oil
- Italian seasoning
- four 16 oz packages of cream cheese
- One jar of white pasta sauce. (I use roasted garlic by ragu)
- Motzarella cheese (one whole bag)
- Bacon Bits
- Parsley
Step1
Get a big pot of water turn it on high to boil put about a half of a cup of oil in the pot. (This keeps the noodles from sticking together.)
Fry up your sausage with about two pinches of Italian seasoning once that has cooked well drain. (Be sure to get all of the grease out. I suggest to leave it in the strainer until the water has boiled and is ready to go in the pot.)
Step2
Once the water is boiling add your pasta shells to the water one at a time You can make about five teen to twenty individual with this recipe. If you want more or less just change the amount of cream cheese you use. Make sure they are all in the water. Let them boil for about twenty minutes. (Slowly stir them once in a while if you have an electric stove they like to stick to the bottom of the pot)
Once the pasta is cooking open up the four packages of cream cheese. Place them into the frying pan with the sausage (sometimes it works better if you cube the cheese first.) Cook them until the cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Turn that off and let it sit.
Step3
Once the noodles appear to be done take the whole pot and set it in the sink DO NOT DRAIN!! Turn on the cold water and let that run through the pot until the noodles are cool enough for you to grab Grab a spoon and start stuffing. Place them into a baking dish I prefer glass. Once all the noodles are stuffed. Cover them with the Ragu pasta sauce. Make sure that all the noodles are covered with the sauce. Other wise they turn out hard and not very yummy.
Once done with the sauce cover with Mozzarella cheese. Then sprinkle on some bacon bits. Garnish with a little parsley. I like to use a little parmesan cheese too.
Bake in the oven for about a half an hour on 350. Great with bread and salad.
