Things You’ll Need:

Bleach
Baking Soda
Dirty White Cloths

Step1

Start your washer in the Load Size necessary for what you need washed in the Hot Wash/Cold Rinse setting.

Step2

Add 1 full cup of bleach and 1/2 a level cup of baking soda to a large or medium load and 1/2 a cup of bleach and a 1/4 level cup of baking soda to a small or mini load.

Step3

Throw in Whites and pull nob to stop washer and let cloths soak for 15 minutes. After 15 mintues push nob in and let washer run its cycle.

Tips & Warnings

For really dirty whites add 1/4 cup of Oxi Clean to either size wash load.
Always use bleach with Caution.

on 1/24/2008 This is a great tip. And also, the baking soda will keep your clothes fresh if you don't dry them right away. My washer is always faster than the dryer so sometimes my clothes sit in a basket overnight.
