Super Bowl is a time for tradition, pride and the biggest game of the year. It is also time to put on a smolderingly spectacular BBQ all your neighbors will envy. Nothing makes a Super Bowl Party complete than a delicious juicy burger with a jug of beer on the rocks.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2lb Ground beef (75% lean- 25% fat)
  • 2tsp Steak seasoning blend
  • 4 Hamburger buns, split
  • 4 Slices of American cheese
  • 4 Butter lettuce leaves
  • 8 Slice tomatoes
  • 2tbl Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to season
  1. Step 1

Combine ground beef and steak seasoning in a bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Lightly shape into four 3/4 inch thick patties

  2. Step 2

Season patties with salt and pepper both side of the patties. Place patties on the grill 13 - 15 minutes on both side for medium done in the patties

  3. Step 3

During the last minute of grilling, top each patties with cheese

  4. Step 4

Line bottom of each bun with lettuce leaf, top with tomatoes, mayo spread on the bread, and patties

  5. Step 5

Serve away in a platter next to a jug of beer. It will sure be the hit of the party

Tips & Warnings
  • Place the buns, cut sides down, on the grill to give it nice toasty taste and grill marks
  • A good burger is all about the fat in your ground meat for flavor and how much salt and pepper you put on it. Let the meat do all the work.
