How to Spot If Your Gold Jewelry Is Fake

Don't spend a lot of money on gold that is really fake. Identify if it's real or fake in less then 5 seconds.

Things You'll Need:

• Questionable gold jewelry
• Magnet

1. Put the questionable gold jewelry item in your hand.

2. Take your magnet and put it on top of the item.

3. Pull magnet up. If it sticks the gold is fake. If it doesn't stick, the gold is real.
