If you are looking to create a calendar you can update and share with others and want a calendar you can add to your blog, try the Google Calendar.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log into Google Reader. You will have to fill out a form, but it's free.
    Google Reader has many features, but let's focus on the calendar.

  2. Step 2

    Once you have established a free account, go to "My Account." There you will find "Calendar," so click on it.

  3. Step 3

    Next you will see a screen that has a large calendar. Here you can decide what to call your calendar. If you are creating a personal calendar or one say for sharing with a club or business. Google will allow you to keep more than one calendar.

  4. Step 4

    There are tabs for daily, weekly, monthly and agenda and print. Fill in those all important dates and save your calendar.

  5. Step 5

    On the left side, you will see a box that will list all the calendars you have created. Underneath that box is a link titled "Manage Calendars." This is the spot where you can make your calendars accessible to others, create a mobil setup and where you can add things such as weather to your calendar. Here you can also add invitations to view the calendar and set up a notification for those interested, each time the calendar is updated.

  6. Step 6

    Sharing the calendar can be done in several way. There is a Google Calendar button that will allow visitors at your website or blog to subscribe to your calendar. Or you can copy the actual link and with HTML Code insert the actual calendar at your blog. The size and look of the calendar can be altered to fit your site.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can set the calendar up so that others are able to add dates and events.
  • You can publish/share or keep private.
  • You can now add it to your iPhone.
  • Add content or other schedules to enhance your calendar.
