Things You'll Need

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. heavy cream or 4 tbsp. water or milk
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

  • Optional: 3 tbsp. grated cheese, chopped vegetables or meats

      Preheat a heavy saute pan on medium heat. Coat the entire surface of the pan, bottom as well as sides, thoroughly with butter. Pour the blended egg mixture into the pan.

Tips & Warnings

  • Optimal skillet size is approximately 8 inches.

  • Vegetables or meats may be sauteed in a separate pan prior to adding them to the omelet.
