Things You'll Need:
- 20-30 Minutes of Alone Time

Step 1
Preparing for Grounding Exercise:
Sit in a comfortable chair with both feet firmly on the floor.
Put both hands down to your sides.
Take a deep breath and close your eyes. -
Step 2
Testing Your Sense of Awareness:
While your eyes are closed, begin to notice the sounds, smells around you and the temperature of the room you are in. Be aware of your body by concentrating/sensing each individual body part starting from your feet and working your way up to your head.
Notice parts of the body that are tense and listen to the body as it may be asking you to adjust a specific body part for optimal comfort. The body's awareness mechanism is in constant contact with our body's physiological mechanics.
If you lose concentration, don't panic. Start over. -
Step 3
Visualization Training Exercise (Prerequisite to Step 4):
As your eyes are closed, visually see the dark red to black space behind your closed eyes(Rear Field Vision). This is your minds eye. When you focus upon this area you may experience a tingling sensation in the center of your forehead, just above the brow.
This area is your 6th Chakra or also termed, 3rd Eye Chakra. It is at this 6th Chakra Level, our visionary experiences take place.
Once your eyes are closed, you may see different colors in various shapes and sizes. This is normal.
1.Clear your thoughts and focus on seeing a red apple in your Rear Field Vision.
2. Rotate the apple 360 degrees, being aware of the apple's size, texture and color.
3. See your self cutting the apple in to four equal parts. Once you have visually sectioned your apple, then visually reassemble the apple to it's original solid state.
Repeat this exercise until this becomes second nature. The desired goal is to assemble - disassemble - reassemble repeatedly. -
Step 4
Releasing Excess Energies:
Using the Visualization Training Technique in Step 3, visualize your self releasing all of your excess energy from the top of your head(7th or Crown Chakra) downward through your legs to return energies back the center of the earth.
Visualize your energy as bluish white beads of light streaming from your feet to the center of the earth.
As the beads of energy return to the earth, become aware of your body's reaction, as it becomes lighter from releasing this excess energy.
Do this step for 5-10 minutes remembering to breath deep and slow. -
Step 5
Returning to Front Field Vision & Awareness:
Once completed, bend forward stretching your arms to the floor or as far as you can, and release the excess energy from your hands.
Slowly open your eyes.
Slowly stand up and stretch.
Reflect on the inner and outer states of awareness after returning to Front Field Vision. -
Step 6
Record Your Experiences:
Immediately record your experiences in your journal or notebook as a point of reference should need to recall the information.
Early recording of the experience helps keep the experience in its original sequence of events for future reviewing purposes.
