America has free and low cost resources for learning English. I will show you both.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A Computer

Step1
Go to your public library. They have many free resources including books, dvds, cds, tapes, and best of all people to help you. You can find your local library here.

Step2
After you get signed up at the library ask if they offer online resources such as Rossetta Stone Online for free. You'll be surprised how many pay websites you can get for free through them.
Step3
Check with your county school system. Some counties offer some ESL (English as a Second Language) classes at their public schools for free or a small fee.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try to learn at least one word every day
  • Get a friend to study with you
