Often time composition notebooks are generally equated with “oh my, am I really ready for this?!” anxiety dreams that plague us through our school years. With a few additions, these decorated notebooks will have you looking forward to going to class. A perfect example of turning the truly terrifying into the treasured.
Things You'll Need
- Composition notebook
- Hot glue gun
- Decorative tape
- Glue stick
- Adhesive letters
See end of directions for a list of what you'll need to get started.
Place your notebook on top of your scrapbooking paper, butting up to the corner. Trace around the other three sides.
Evenly coat the back of the paper with the glue stick. Line up and press firmly on the cover.
Run a line of tape down the spine overlapping the paper 1/16 inch to decorate the spine. Cut at both top and bottom so the tape line is flush with the top and bottom of the journal.
Using a straight-edge, place the name of the course across the notebook.
Add two more lines of tape a little above and below where the postcard will go to frame it.
Center your postcard or photo over the tape and hot glue.
