A declaration can be pertain to any legal matter regarding the case on the court's docket. Below, I will be showing you how to write a declaration IN SUPPORT OF MOTION FOR ORDER RESETTING CASE FOR TRIAL for the attorney in this case. This attorney and defendant vs. plaintiff in this case are not real.

When You Need To Write a Legal Declaration

Step1
Pleadiing Paper in your Word Processing Software The first this you need to do is open up your word processing software. You will be writing the declaration on pleading paper. Once your word processing software is open, click on the "Help" button and type in "Pleading Paper" in the search window.
Step2
Template for 28 lines Pleading Paper Once you have typed "Pleading Papers" into the search window, five pleading form options will pop up for you to use. In this article, I am showing you how to use the pleading template for 28 lines.
Step3
Declaration for Order of Motion for Resetting Trial Date Now, you will fill in all the lines needed to file this declaration for the courts. The ATTORNEY'S NAME and ADDRESS will be filled in on the TOP LEFT SIDE of the page. The COURT'S NAME, the PLAINTIFF vs. DEFENDANT, the CASE NUMBER, ATTORNEY filing this declaration and why. On the RIGHT SIDE of the page, You will also supply the DATE, TIME, LOCATION AND TRIAL DATE.
Step4
This is how you would write and file a declaration regarding doing anything for your case and client. To cover all your bases as attorney for your client, it would be best to add DOES 1-100 behind the defendant's name.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be your client's advocate and do all you can to make sure all bases are covered when filing any declaration or motion to the courts
  • When representing your client, remember not to over bill your client for unnecessary filings.
