Healing after Your C-Section
Step1
If you are planning a C-Section as a method of delivering your baby, then think ahead and purchase a cold therapy machine. A cold therapy machine is amazing and you will not believe how fast your incision will heal.
Step2
When you are looking for a cold therapy machine, online, you will probably type in the words, Cold Therapy After C Section.
Step3
Once you type in Cold Therapy in your search engine, you will come to a page that looks like this. Once here, you can click on any of these names to find a cold therapy machine, but I have made it easy for you by giving you two web sites to find and purchase your cold therapy machine.
Step4
Of all the links provided by my search engine, I found only two places to purchase a cold therapy machine. The first place to order and purchase your cold therapy machine is at The Knee Shop which is in this image below.
Step5
Once inside The Knee Shop website, you will see all sorts of products on the left side of their page. Look for the Cold Therapies link and click on that. This will take you to all their cold therapy machines for whatever need you have. In this image, I am showing you a cold therapy machine which is perfect for a stomach surgery incision.
Step6
If after viewing a cold therapy machine at the above company you want to view others, I would suggest looking at a popular online auction website. They have cold therapy machines in great demand for everyone, and not only women recovering from a C Section. Take a look around this popular online auction and see what you think would fit into your budget and make you heal at a faster rate. Here, I typed the name of a popular online auction, eBay, into my search engine and clicked on that name.
Step7
When you type in this popular online auction into your search engine and arrive at their website, you will click on their Health and Beauty link. This link will take you to many, many health and beauty products to choose from.
Step8
When you are inside the Health and Beauty page, you will then look for the hot and cold therapies link. This will take you to all sorts of hot and cold therapy machines or devices that can be used for any injury or wound to be healed at a faster rate.
Step9
Finally, at the hot and cold therapy page, you will probably see over 700 types of hot and cold therapy products to choose from being sold by various sellers. All you will do is scroll down the page(s) until you see one, almost like in the photo on this article, that will fit your C Section healing need. This is just one of many cold therapy machines available for purchase through this popular online auction.
Step10
In the past, healing from a C Section was probably long and not easy. But today, there are cold therapy machines with once filled with water and placed on your incision, will speed up the healing process and let you tend to your most precious gift, your new baby.
Step11
You know, I was just asked to write about how cold therapy works. That is something I overlooked. Cold Therapy, like any kind of therapy after a surgery more likely than not, will need a cold compress of some sort to quicken the healing process. Cold therapy is a wonderful tool used to relieve pain on an incision or other injury. Using ice or cold water on an incision or injury can be used by anyone, not just a doctor.
Step12
Have you ever heard of cryotherapy? If not, this is a therapy that works by using a heat exchange in which the person with a wound to be healed or an injury will place a cooler object, ice pack for instance, directly on the warmer object, probably the stomach where the C Section occurred or any other part of the body where an incision occurred. The ice pack will remove heat from your stomach and replace it with a faster healing process. When I came home from the hospital, my sister and Mom suggested I use cold therapy right away to quicken the healing process and most importantly, tend to my infant twins. I believe I began using the cold therapy machine in December 2006 all the way through February 2006. I was up and about in no time and I have to say it was due to the cold therapy.

on 4/10/2008 Wow - I have never heard of a cold therapy machine!! I had a c-section with my son and will have another with my current pregnancy. I always thought that a c-section was the easy way out - LOL! HA! The best way to describe the pain after a c-section is like you've been cut open and someone's poured gasoline inside of you, lit you on fire, and then hit you with a freight train. At least for me. Next time I'm taking the pain meds faithfully! Good article!

on 1/26/2008 This sounds like such a great deal. Why not write on how and why the cold therapy works?
