Capturing a beautiful scene on your camera may require a little bit of luck to be in the right place at the right time, but you don't have to be a professional photographer to take scenic photographs. You can learn to compose your own scenic pictures just by following these few steps.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Choose a scene you wish to photograph.
Step2
Every picture should have a subject in it, just as a work of art has a subject that captures your attention.
Step3
Look through your viewfinder and compose your photograph. How you compose in the view finder will be the way your photo is composed in print.
Step4
Choose the best position for your subject in the view finder. Your subject is where your eye will be drawn to in the final picture.
Step5
Look at the foreground and the background of your subject. Use the surroundings of the foreground and background to frame your subject. Move to a different position if necessary. Try standing on your toes or get closer to the ground to get a better shot.
Step6
Snap the picture of your subject when you feel you have the best picture. Try taking several different shots at different angles.
