Some ski areas cost as much as $80.00 per day to ski or snow-board. After reading this the reader will know exactly where to go to get steep discounts for most ski areas in Colorado.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Transportation
  • Money or Credit Card

Step1
King Soopers Grocery Store Logo Some gas stations and larger stores are allowed to sell lift tickets at their locations. It's another way to get people into their place of business. My favorite place to go is a grocery store chain called King Suppers Grocery Store. Home page is www.kingsupers.com. Click on Find Stores on the left side.
Step2
The link below is a location I like to use. It's a short distance from I-70 and is on the way to many ski areas from Denver International Airport.

Step3
Discounts can be as high as $14.00 to $15.00 dollars per lift ticket, depending on how many you purchase. Typical discount is about $12.00. Discounts are higher after March.

Tips & Warnings

  • Know how many days you want to ski before going to the store.
  • Some discounts read like this "4 days at Keystone and only one day can be used for Vail".
  • No membership fees to pay nothing, no B.S. like you find with other offers or stores.
  • Pay using Credit Card is recommend, tickets are dispensed from a machine.
  • I recommend King Supers because you can purchase some food for the hotel or condo you are staying in.
  • Last time I was there the store was open 24 hours a day. I would call to make sure especially if your flight arrival is late in the evening.
  • Save the receipt from the machine if you loose your ticket ski areas will get you a replacement.
