How to Dye Red Hair Platinum Blonde

I have a natural red tint to my hair baing that I am Irish and I have dyed my hair blonde. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

  Grab towel or t-shirt and wrap around neck or put on t-shirt
- 2
  
  Grab your bleaching kit, read directions and apply
- 3
  
  Rinse out and blow dry
- 4
  
  Grab your blonde hair dye, read directions and apply
- 5
  
  rinse out and blow dry

Tips & Warnings

Don't fret if after you bleach your hair it turns out to be yellow or orange the blonde should fix that.
Make sure you follow instructions to the tee or you could damage your hair
Keep away from eyes and wash away any excess on skin immediately to avoid irritation
Do not use for eyebrows
Always do a spot test as indicated in directions
If you have overly sensitive skin go to a professional
Read directions thoroughly and call customer service if you have any questions

You can dye red hair blonde with lvl12 blonde, blonde booster and a 30 dev. You can purchase all these products from your local beauty supplyu store. AND NOOOOO... it won't make your hair orange either. I have red hair that I dye blonde...I would know.

I have tried to go lighter and no doubt it WILL make your hair go orange and never anywhere close to blond!

what has fried your friend's hair is the bleach, and out of my experience I think that when you go lighter there is alsyas a huge risk of damaging your hair...but like it says in the instructions it wouldent turn your hair orange as long as you choose the right blond color!

wouldn't this turn your hair orange.. I had a friend who did this and her hair was not only orange, but fried as well...

I use a golden or honey blond. If your roots come in dark when you dye them they may become a strawberry blond so you will have to bleach the roots. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
