How to add integers with like signs

1. Adding positive integers is fairly simple because it's something you've been practicing since you were a little kid. To add together two positive numbers, you simply add them together. The answer is positive.
2. Adding negative numbers looks complicated, but it's actually just as easy as adding two positive numbers. You add both numbers together, and place the negative sign in front of the answer.
3. You can check your work by sketching out a quick number line and checking to make sure that you've added your numbers together correctly.
