It's easy to enable remote access to Windows XP.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Access to the computer you want remote access to.
  1. Step 1

    Log in to the computer you want to enable remote access to as administrator or an account with administrator access.

  2. Step 2

    Right click "My Computer" and click properties.

  3. Step 3

    Click the remote tab and then click the check box "Allow Users to connect remotely to this computer"

Tips & Warnings
  • Enabling remote access opens a new door to hackers. Be sure you have your computer accounts secure and some type of firewall.
