You have seen those great over priced Easter trees in the store. Now it is time to make your own for half the cost and why not add candy? It will be the tree that keeps giving.
Start by spray painting the branches white. Do this in an open well ventilated area. Paint your flower pot or pail or leave it the color it is to go with a natural look.
Step2
Fill the bucket or pail with sand or floral foam. Plant your tree in the middle of the foam and surround with silk flowers. Cut the stems low and they will make a bed of flowers. Alternately you can hot glue the flowers to the outside of the pot or pail and cover the rest of the floral foam with some type of Easter grass.
Step3
Cut one inch lengths of the ribbon and hot glue them into loops to the eggs. You could also add a small silk flower as a finishing touch. Be sure to make lots of these ornaments as this is the tree that keeps on giving.
Step4
Decorate the limbs with the ornaments so that the weight on the branches is even. Replace candy ornaments as people enjoy eating them often. Alternately you can hot glue just about any Easter trinket to the loop. Be sure to make two of the same ones or close to the same weight to hang one on each side of your tree to keep it from falling or getting to heavy in one direction.
