Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Think about the girl you are buying the gift for. What are her interests? Is she a girly-girl, or more of a tom-boy? How old is she?
Step2
Find out if she has any skin allergies. If you choose to buy jewelry for someone, always make sure they’ll be able to wear it.
Step3
Go for something personalized. If you do decide to buy jewelry, have your flower girl’s name engraved on it with the date. This will work for lockets, pendants, and charm bracelets quite easily.
Step4
Consider including a teddy bear with the jewelry. Some young girls may not be too excited about receiving a locket or bracelet, but get very excited about a teddy that wears a shirt saying “Thank you for being my flower girl.”
Step5
If your flower girl is more into field hockey than jewelry, consider getting a stick with her name and the wedding date painted onto it. Use your imagination to make the gift distinctive by considering her favorite activities and incorporating them into your gift buying.
Step6
Put together a gift bag full of items that your flower girl will love. If she loves to cook, you can include cookie cutters and mixes. Add non-edible items like a picture frame or T-shirt with her name on it. Tailor it to your girl’s specific interests.
