How to Work With Predefined Workspace in Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe Premiere Pro includes several pre-defined workspace templates for various tasks. You can choose between these workspaces any time you have a project open. When you choose one of these workspaces, the current workspace is reformatted accordingly.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
With a project open, go to Window, and then to Workspace.
Step2
Select the type of workspace you want to work with from among Editing, Effects, Audio, or Color Correction.
Step3
The Editing Workspace automatically opens with the Project settings, Source Window, Monitor, Info Panel and Timeline.
Step4
The Effects Workspace automatically opens with the Project Settings, Effects Window, Monitor, Effects Panel and Timeline.
Step5
The Audio Workspace automatically opens with the Project Settings, Audio Mixer, Monitor, Info Panel and Timeline.
Step6
The Color Correction Workspace automatically opens with the Effects Controls, and two Source windows and Monitors.

  • Note that you can modify the panels of these workspaces and save them for your specific needs.
