One great function of Adobe Premiere Pro, is that it provides a customizable workspace, that the user can modify for preferences. The main window of the program is called the workspace. You can brighten or darken the user interface on your computer screen.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

You may prefer to lower the brightness when working in a darkened editing suite or when making color corrections. Changing the brightness preference will affect all the panels, windows, and dialog boxes but will not affect scroll bars, title bars, and menus.

  2. Step 2

Go to Edit, and then Preferences. Choose User Interface.

  3. Step 3

Drag the slider within the User Interface Brightness to the left or right to make the workspace darker or lighter. You can click on Default Brightness, and that will restore the default brightness level.

  4. Step 4

You can also choose to set the workspace to match the background color of Windows operating system. Select the “Use Windows Background Color” option and then click "OK."
