Digital cameras may be much more common in modern times than traditional ones, but getting tangible pictures out of those cameras can require a bit of manipulation with image editing software. Use Adobe Photoshop to print pages of multiple photographs, which can maximize use of specialty printer film paper. Printing multiple photos on a single page is also ideal for artistic touches such as panoramas, collages and diptychs.

Step 1

Start Photoshop and click "File." Click "New." Type "CombinedPhotos" into the "Name" box. Enter dimensions for the canvas, where all of the photos have to fit, in the "Width" and "Height" boxes. A standard copy paper page is 8.5 inches by 11 inches. Click the "inches" drop-down menus for the two dimensions sections and click the "OK" button.

Step 2

Click "File" again and select "Open." Browse to where the photos are located. If all the images are in one location, press and hold down the "Ctrl" key, click each file name once and click the "Open" button. If not, browse to and double-click each individual picture. Note that all the images appear as tabs across the top of the Photoshop workspace.

Step 3

Click one of the photo's tabs. Click the "Select" menu and click "All." When lines surround the picture, click the "Edit" menu and select "Copy."

Step 4

Click the "CombinedPhotos" canvas, click the "Edit" menu and select "Paste." Drag the picture into place, such as the top-left corner of the canvas. Note the "Layers" palette on the right side of the screen now has two layers -- the blank background layer and Layer 1 with the picture in it.

Step 5

Click another photo's tab and repeat the copy and paste process to paste it into the "CombinedPhotos" canvas. Continue until all photos are pasted in.

Step 6

Click any of the layers in the "Layers" palette to activate that photo. Use the "Move" tool, the top tool on the "Tools" palette, to drag that picture into place on the canvas. This may be helpful if you need to shuffle pictures around or make space.
