Clean a Mac Keyboard
Clean a Mac Keyboard

Mac keyboards, especially wireless can be tricky to clean. Here are some tips on how to do it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Qtips
  • soft rag
  • brush
  • cleaner/alcohol
  1. Step 1

Remove the keys using a screwdriver, quarter or emory board. Make sure you either write, draw or take a picture of your keyboard before you take the keys off so you know where to put the keys back.

  2. Step 2

At this point you will be amazed at what you have discovered. After you have your fill of looking and identifying each particle use the brush to get rid of all the dust and crumbs and sweep it to the side of the computer and dumb crumbs into trash can.

  3. Step 3

Using a soft rag or paper towel and some cleaner wipe off the keyless board. Then wipe down all the keys individually. All 109 of them.

  4. Step 4

Put the keys back one at a time as you clean them.

  5. Step 5

When done, admire your work. You'll be surprised how satisfying of a task this is when you are done.
