We all know how cool it looks when Criss Angel or David Blaine use their own personalized decks of cards while performing. Well, what if I told you that anybody can get their own deck? That's right. Read this tutorial to find out how to go about getting your own deck of cards.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Track record with magic
  • Negotiating skills
  • Actual magic skills
  1. Step 1

The easiest way to get your own deck is to, of course, be famous. The companies will salivate at the thought of a celebrity endorsement. Do you think David Copperfield has to pay for decks of cards?

  2. Step 2

Make a video of yourself. This is not a dating service video, but rather a montage of your magic skills.

  3. Step 3

Send the video to card companies like AdMagic and explain that you perform a lot and would like your own deck of cards.

  4. Step 4

Let them know that you will use their cards and promote them heavily if you can get some sort of discount.

  5. Step 5

Come up with the design that best fits your taste and style. A family magician should not have a deck with knives or guns or anything else along those lines, for instance.

  6. Step 6

Fill out the necessary paperwork CORRECTLY and be sure to follow through on your promotional promise.

  7. Step 7

Before any of this, decide if you really deserve your own deck. Usually only the big dogs have their own decks and it is a sign of status in the magic community.

on 6/24/2008 I'm no magician but I created my own card game, I made them on myminicards.com and they came out really neat.
