You got a tattoo where?! Ok so we all have those things that we did when we were younger that were less then well for lack of a better word…smart? Or maybe the thing that you are not so proud of had nothing to do with a choice of your own. We all need a little cover up from time to time.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Foundation base one shade lighter then your own
  • Foundation base your own shade
  • Powder your own shade

Step1
Start by cleaning the area with a mild soap and patting dry. This will make a better surface to start with and anything you do to cover the area will last longer.
Step2
Apply a waterproof foundation, liquid base works best. It should be one color lighter then your current skin color. To find the best color try a small dab on the inside of your wrist to test the color. Make sure this layer is liberal and spread so that there are no lines or smears that make the liquid noticeable before it dries. Do not rub so hard that the foundation begins to flake. Allow it to fully dry.
Step3
Next use the liquid foundation that is your current skin color. Apply one layer smoothing it out and allow it to dry. Apply a second layer of your current color, smooth, and allow it to dry.
Step4
Finally apply a thin layer of the powder to blend out any further areas as needed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remove the makeup every night to ensure that your skin has time to breath.
  • This works great for cover up of an exposed tattoo while working in the public.
