Pita bread is an excellent crust to make pizza.
Its also great to serve the whole family by making different pizzas for each family member.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pizza Sauce.
  • Pita Bread.
  • Your choice of topping, and herbs
  • Shredded Cheese or sliced Cheese
  1. Step 1
     

    First spread the pizza sauce on your pita bread. You can brush the pita bread with olive oil to give it a better taste.

  2. Step 2
    Sprinkel your topping with herbs

    Add your topping, pepperoni chicken breast sausage your only limited to what you have in your kitchen.
    After you add your topping you can sprinkle it with oregano and other herbs that you may like.

  3. Step 3
    Add cheese to your Pizza

    Add your cheese. If you don't have mozzarella cheese, you can add small pieces of sliced cheese to your pizza, Swiss cheese, Provolone or any other cheese you may prefer.

    Cooking time depends on the kind of oven you have. You can also use your toaster oven to cook your Pita Pizza. Make sure you watch your pizza as soon as the cheese starts melting you can take out and serve it hot.

    Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top to make it taste even better.
    Try to avoid adding salt to your cooked Pita Pizza.

on 4/2/2008 Yum! For pizza sauce, mix a little tomato paste into your spaghetti sauce and now you have a healthier (and not so pricey) pizza sauce!
