Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
First, eliminate other variables. If you have kids, drop them off with a babysitter for the night. If your house is a mess, clean it. The idea is to start with a completely clear head so that other things don't get in the way of romance.
Step2
Think about things you used to do when life was simple. If you used to cuddle up on the couch together with a glass of wine and a movie, consider doing that. The idea is to re-spark the feelings you had before you started feeling tired and stressed out.
Step3
Consider replaying your first date. It may not be possible to do the exact date over again (If you've moved or the weather is bad), but if this is the case, re-create it at home. Set up a picnic on the living room floor with the same meals you ate that day. It can be as simple or elaborate as you want.
Step4
If re-creating a date isn't your style, consider a new date of something you might both enjoy but have never tried. This can be hiking, paintballing, visiting a museum, anything! If you both enjoy it together, it will bring you closer to each other.

on 2/23/2008 It's very important to do everything we can to be closer and to keep what we have, life can get in the way and articles like yours can help us all to remember whats most important, our love for each other. And also we need to remember that our kids are also affected by how we love and care. Sometimes I think we all need to be reminded. Thanks.
