There are many children born in another country that were born of Filipino parents. These children are considered dual citizens when born in another country while their Filipino parents are still citizens of their country of origin (Filipino citizens). Even if so many years have past, you still can apply for your dual citizenship.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Registration form from a Philippine Consulate office or a late registration form if there is a time lapse since birth and registration. (Notarization of form is required).
  • Proof of parents filipino citizenship at time of birth
  • Submit to Philippine Consulate of applicable country.

Step1
Acquire and fill out registration form from a Philippine consulate office. If there is a time lapse between birth and submission of paperwork, use the late registration form.
Step2
Have the form Notarized
Step3
Submit also proof Filipino citizenship at time of birth to the applicable consulate office.

on 3/27/2008 Yes you're absolutely correct, children of foreigners born in the Philippines can also apply for dual citizenship. All you have to do is apply at the immigration office. Thanks for your comment.
