When you're planning your wedding, choosing who will stand up with you can be either the hardest or the easiest decision you'll make. For those who are struggling, here are a few helpful tips to make it easier.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide how many bridesmaids and groomsmen you want. Three or four of each is manageable, but when there are more members of the bridal party than guests in the seats, you may have a problem.

  2. Step 2

Remember those closest to you. Your sisters or brothers, nieces and nephews and especially your best friend that you've known since fourth grade, all of these people should be considered.

  3. Step 3

When all else fails, have a friendly competition if you absolutely have to reduce the number. If you just cannot decide, include them all, within reason of course.

Tips & Warnings
  • You aren't required to have an even number of bridesmaids and groomsmen. It's your wedding, do whatever you want.
